This information not available. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A little explanation from “Dr. Pete” Corless… This application is based on the amazingly wonderful System Errors DA version 3.0, which was created using Bill Steinberg’s Display DA 2.0. With System 7, the new errors list exceeded the 32k limit on text files, forcing me to look elsewhere for a tool to display the whole list. I am indebted to Sue Clark for poking around on AOL and finding DOCMaker for me, and to Mark Wall at Green Mountain Software for creating such a cool app! I apologize if you find any factual errors in this application. Unfortunately, I do not have any electronic addresses at this time to which you can respond with corrections. Updates will be made if and when I can. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 7.5.1 Revision Notes In attempting to set up my file server on my Centris 610, I kept getting a stupid sad mac with the wierd little sound that it makes. I thought "oh god, not the mother board", which would have cost more than the machine. Luckily, I found a neet little program called MacCheck. I looked inside and found a list of error codes for a "Sad Mac". I found out that it was only corrupted software (whew!). Anyway, I attempted to print out this neet little list. But unfortunately, there is no way to do it. So, what I did was copied all the info out and typed it in here so that everyone has access to it. I hope that it is useful. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Version notes… 7.0 - This was the first version, to coincide with the release of Macintosh System 7. Designated “Apple Internal Use Only” because I wanted to know if there were any misspellings or other errors. 7.0.1 - Added table of contents; expanded Credits. Because of overwhelming demand, I designated this version “Suitable for public consumption”. 7.5.1 - Revisions by R.C. Yochum. Added start-up error codes and revised error tables. Compiled in part from data obtained from MacCheck, the Apple Utility.
